Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) is a regulatory body that maintains strict standards or professional ethics among its members and advances the interest of the engineering profession in Nigeria without compromise for any reason.
They are like the umbrella organisation for the Engineering Profession in Nigeria that was founded on 16th February 1958 by a group of young Nigerian graduate engineers and students in the UK.

1. Head, Professional Development Department (National Engineering Centre, Abuja)
The job objective of this position is to improve the overall professional development of NSE members, implement guidelines for Continuous Professional Development (CPD), professional courses, examinations, and seminars as well as coordinate the consultancy services of the society of the society
Qualification
· First degree in Engineering from a reputable institution
· Higher degree in Engineering (optional)
· Must be a corporate member of NSE and registered with COREN
· Must be a member for not less than five (5) years
· Must have a mix of academia and technical know-how experience
· Must be capable of generating new ideas for new models of professional development
· Must be computer literate, innovative and analytical
· Must possess leadership skills
2. Head Membership Services Department
They implement membership policy decisions of the council, plan and implement NSE strategies to increase membership base, and sustain membership enthusiasm, through improvement in quality of work, turn around time for request as well as compliance with service standards
Qualification
· First degree in Engineering from a reputable institution
· Higher degree in Engineering (optional)
· Must be a corporate member of NSE and registered with COREN

3. Head, Finance Department
They head all duties that relate to the management of the Secretariats’ books of accounts and finance as well as manage the Secretariats’ investment portfolio.
Qualification
· First degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related discipline
· Higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related discipline.
· Minimum of ten (10) years post-graduation relevant experience
· Must have good knowledge of tax management, financial analysis, cost accounting, and budgeting
· Must be computer literate and specifically versed in QuickBooks software.
