McGill University Canada MasterCard Foundation Scholarships 2022/2023 for African Students

McGill University in Canada is teaming up with the MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program (MFSP) to offer the McGill University Canada MasterCard foundation scholarships to qualified African students for the academic year 2022/2023.

This scholarship initiative aims to provide financial support to outstanding, community-engaged students who would otherwise be unable to attend university, promoting the development of future Sub-Saharan African leaders and entrepreneurs.

Applicants to the McGill scholarship are free from paying the $107.50 application fee, but they must fulfill particular requirements.

About The McGill University Canada MasterCard Foundation Scholarships

McGill University and the Mastercard Foundation partnered in 2013 to launch the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at McGill. 

This initiative provides access to world-class university education for academically gifted young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Over the next ten (10 )years, the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at McGill will welcome Scholars from Sub-Saharan Africa, including some Master’s students. 

Some Scholars come from French-speaking nations and get intense English language training before beginning their degree programs, which is unique to McGill.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program aims to establish a globally educated and highly qualified group of future leaders who will return to Africa after graduation to aid in the region’s development. 

McGill Scholars’ education is supplemented by a comprehensive support system that includes mentorship, specialized support services, community service activities, and long-term programming that is pertinent to their personal growth. 

During their studies, scholars get assistance and support for two internships in their home countries. 

These internships are designed to keep Scholars connected to their home countries while also laying the groundwork for significant post-graduation employment.
