Developing Solutions is The University of Nottingham’s main international scholarship initiative for postgraduate master’s programs, founded in 2001.

The Developing Solutions Scholarship Programme is created for international students from Africa, India, or one of the Commonwealth countries who desire to pursue a Master’s Degree at the University of Nottingham while also contributing to their home country’s development.
In 2001, the flagship Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship was established. This scholarship program is for international students who wish to make a difference in their native country’s development.
This program provides 105 scholarships that cover 50% or 100% of full-time master’s tuition.
These one-year scholarships are given to exceptional international students from Africa, India, and selected Commonwealth nations.

Eligibility For Developing Solutions Full Masters Scholarships 2022/2023
You can apply for the Developing Solutions scholarship if you meet the following requirements:
- Are a national of (or permanently domiciled in) Africa, India, or one of the Commonwealth countries listed above
- classified as an overseas student for fee purposes
- Have not previously studied outside of your home country
- Are not currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus
- You are not a University of Nottingham graduate
- Already hold an offer to begin a full-time master’s degree program, including MRes, at Nottingham in September 2022 in an eligible discipline
You are ineligible for the Developing Solutions scholarship if:
- You are a current or recent graduate of the University of Nottingham
- You have studied outside of your home country
- You are now studying in the UK
Candidates who have never studied outside of their home country are given preference while students who are currently studying in the United Kingdom are not eligible to apply.
Application Criteria For Developing Solutions Full Masters Scholarships 2022/2023
You will be questioned about your achievements, study intentions, and reasons for choosing to study at the University of Nottingham in your application.
You should also demonstrate how your studies at the University of Nottingham will aid in the growth of your home nation.
Make sure you have enough time to develop solid responses. When determining scholarship decisions, your comments as well as your academic merit will be considered.
Before applying for the scholarship, applicants must have applied for and received an offer to study for a full-time master’s degree at the University of Nottingham.
You can apply through the University’s application system, MyNottingham, in the area of the scholarship.
First, you must apply for admission to the Masters’s program and be enrolled as a full-time student at the university.

Requirements For Developing Solutions Scholarship 2022/2023
You are not required to react to your offer before applying for this scholarship; nevertheless, grants will be awarded solely to students who accept their offer to study.
Before awarding any grants, all scholarship applications will be reviewed. You may be given a scholarship covering 50% or 100% of your tuition. In early July 2022, you will be contacted to confirm the outcome of your application.
If you are awarded this scholarship, it will be withdrawn from your tuition costs at the University of Nottingham. You will not be paid directly for tuition cost scholarships.
This grant cannot be coupled with another regional scholarship or an International Sporting Excellence Award from the University of Nottingham.
However, if the combined total does not surpass 100 percent of tuition fees, you may be eligible for an additional subject scholarship from your academic institution, a sports scholarship package, or an external award from your country.
This could include, for example, a grant from Nottingham University Business School and/or a grant from your country’s government or another financial organization.
You can apply for one of our regional Postgraduate Excellence Awards in addition to the Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship.
You may be considered for numerous international scholarships, but only one will be awarded to you.

The deadline for Developing Solutions Full Masters Scholarships 2022/2023 for African Students at The University of Nottingham is May 20, 2022.
The course begins in September 2022 and is at the same time every year.
