Sheffield Hallam University has formally opened its new STEM Centre, which will serve as a regional focus of excellence for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

It is named after Hertha Ayrton, an award-winning nineteenth-century English engineer, mathematician, inventor, and physicist.

Transform Together postgraduate scholarships are only available to students who are transitioning from undergraduate to postgraduate education.

The scholarships will be given to students who demonstrate academic, personal, or professional accomplishment on their scholarship application form. 

Following enrollment in their course, successful applicants will be granted a certificate to commemorate their achievement.

Scholarships are only available to international students who begin a full-time taught program in 2022–2023. 

For the first year of study, undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses are eligible for a half-fee waiver (a 50% reduction).

Scholarships are given to students who have demonstrated outstanding academic success. 

Applicants must also explain how they will stand out as an ambassador for Sheffield Hallam University both during and after their studies.

Scholarship applications are now being accepted for courses beginning in September 2022. The deadline for applications is May 31, 2022.

You must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships:

• Be a foreign student. 

• A paying student must meet the course’s English and academic admission requirements.

• You have applied to Sheffield Hallam University for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate study and have been assigned a student identifier number.

• You must fund your study meaning you should be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, such as field trips and tuition fees for subsequent years of study, if you do not receive funding for your studies from an external source such as the government, a scholarship provider, a company, or an employer.

You must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships:

• Be an international student who pays tuition (postgraduate only) 

• You have a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in your undergraduate honors degree, as well as meet the English and academic entry standards for your course (postgraduate only)

• You have not previously received a postgraduate qualification in the UK or abroad 

• For undergraduate only, you must meet the English and academic entry requirements for the course. 

• You have applied for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University and have received your student identifier number.

• You must fund your study meaning you should be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, such as field trips and tuition fees for subsequent years of study, if you do not receive funding for your studies from an external source such as the government, a scholarship provider, a company, or an employer.

You are ineligible, if:

• If you have a criminal record, you are ineligible to apply.

• Have already begun the program for which you are asking for a scholarship and have previously obtained a Transform Together Scholarship for a course at the same level of study.
• Have previously been awarded a postgraduate qualification in the UK or abroad.

• Are obtaining full or partial financing for your studies from a sponsor or other scholarship source.
• Are applying to study a Sheffield Hallam program at a partner institution outside the UK and have been accepted into one of our International Foundation Programmes.

You must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships:

• Be an international fee-paying student and have a least 2.1 or equivalent in your undergraduate honors degree 

• Must meet the English and academic entry standards for your course 

• Have not previously been given a postgraduate qualification in the UK or abroad 

• You have applied to Sheffield Hallam University for a full-time taught undergraduate or postgraduate study and have been assigned a student identifier number.

• You must fund your study meaning you are not obtaining support for your education from a third party, such as the government, a scholarship provider, a firm, or an employer.

• You should be able to pay any additional fees imposed by your course, such as field trips and tuition for subsequent years of study

More Information On Transform Together Scholarship 2022

Scholarships are competitive, and recipients are chosen based on the information submitted in the online scholarship application.

On the online scholarship application form, you must enter your eight-digit Student Identifier (SI) number. When your course application has been processed, the University will send you this.

Transform Together scholarships are given as a tuition fee reduction and only apply to the first year of study. There is no cash alternative.

Transform Scholarships are not transferable and cannot be postponed to a later start date. Each course of study may only receive one financial incentive.
