LinkedIn usually offers free, basic membership to anyone who wants to create and maintain a professional profile online.
But If you want access to all of Linkedin’s features and products then you might need to upgrade to a Premium subscription. LinkedIn paid subscriptions to include marketing, recruitment, sales, and learning products. You can try LinkedIn Premium for free for a month.
In other to cancel your LinkedIn premium Account subscription here are some steps to note:
You can only cancel your Premium subscription from the LinkedIn desktop site, mobile browser, or the LinkedIn mobile app, if you bought the Premium subscription via the LinkedIn desktop site, here’s how to cancel your premium subscription
To cancel your Premium subscription:
- Click the Me icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage.
- Select Access My Premium from the dropdown.
- Click the Manage Premium account button on the right rail.
- You’ll be redirected to your Premium Subscription settings.
- Under Manage subscription, click Cancel subscription.
- Follow the prompts to complete the cancellation.
For IOS users here’s how to cancel your LinkedIn Subscription:
Due to Apple’s privacy policies, you can’t cancel a LinkedIn Premium subscription purchased via iTunes directly on LinkedIn.
If you’ve bought your Premium subscription via iTunes or the App Store, you’ll be able to begin the cancellation process on the LinkedIn desktop or the LinkedIn mobile app.
You’ll then be redirected to the iTunes subscription management settings page to complete the process.
How To Cancel Premium Account via iTunes
- Access iTunes on your desktop or mobile device.
- Open the Subscription Management Settings page.
- Locate your LinkedIn Premium subscription.
- If you cannot find it, you may be signed in with another Apple ID.
- Click Cancel Subscription from the bottom of the screen, then confirm your decision.

Note: LinkedIn can’t provide any billing support for iTunes purchases, so you must contact Apple for payment inquiries and refund requests or review your iTunes purchase history.
When should I cancel my LinkedIn Premium to avoid getting Billed?
It is possible to cancel LinkedIn premium (subscription, promotion, or trial) at any time. After you cancel it, your plan will expire at the end of your current billing cycle.
To avoid getting charged for another billing cycle, you need to cancel your plan at least one day before your next scheduled billing date.
Note: All billing dates are in the Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) time zone.
What happens if I cancel a free Premium trial?
If you cancel your free LinkedIn Premium trial, you won’t be eligible to sign up for another free trial for at least 12 months.
