Nestle Global Youth Initiative

Nestlé has a long tradition of recruiting young people directly from schools or universities. In the past years, unemployment in Europe was at a critical level, and NESTLE   could only do more to help address it.

Focusing on creating first job experiences, it launched the Nestlé needs Youth initiative.

In 2022 NESTLE will offer 15,000 apprenticeships and trainees as part of an overall commitment to offer 35,000 work opportunities for young people in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Nestlé is seeking to help more young graduates out of school and into work. This includes apprenticeships; a key success factor in bridging the gap between school and the workplace.

The commitment by Nestlé today is part of its global youth initiative to help young people across the world develop skills and become more employable.

The company has already offered 32,000 opportunities in Europe and Africa, exceeding its initial target of 20,000 in these regions.
