Dual Reporting to: Store Manager & Next RLPM
Primary Purpose:
As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will be in charge of all Loss Prevention tasks at Victoria’s Secret shops. Your primary responsibility is to safeguard people, goods, and property while coordinating with the Next Regional LP management team at all times. You will be responsible for preventing, detecting, and investigating loss at the retail level. You will be self-assured in dealing with stock loss concerns and will be able to stay cool and professional under pressure. To carry out your position effectively, you can expect to be both consumer facing and working behind the scenes in our stores.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required.
Liaising and aligning regularly with business and support functions to understand operational plans and to provide adequate risk management to enable those plans.
Identifying, evaluating, and handling threats and risks within all business activities within their cluster
Analyzing incidents, incidents, and intelligence to identify trends. Recommend and implement effective actions accordingly
Conducting, directing, coordinating, and/or coordinating investigations of internal theft and fraud within the sites of their cluster while ensuring compliance with relevant Amazon professional and ethical standards as well as with local legislation.
Sharing, reporting, and/or escalating information and intelligence with relevant functions to ensure visibly and collaboration within the EU framework
Key Responsibilities
To interact with retail management and line managers in order to safeguard employees, customers, and corporate assets.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with local law enforcement, and aid in the development of local crime reduction collaborations.
Maintain in-store security measures (EAS, CCTV, Radios).
Always provide an effective visual deterrent on the shop floor, performing checks on high risk locations, detecting and dealing with possible safety/security issues in accordance with Company Procedure.
All security events must be reported in accordance with existing reporting tools and processes, including escalation to the Loss Prevention department. Where appropriate, to the police, and for the processing of any Civil Recoveries.
To guarantee that all employee searches are carried out in accordance with Company procedures.
As ordered by your manager, assist and participate in internal investigations.
The position will need you to handle external theft situations properly while adhering to Company policy and procedures.
Ensure the appropriate creation, maintenance, and retention of all reports, evidence, files, and records in accordance with corporate rules, as well as effective collaboration with the HR department as necessary.
Implement and train employees on Loss Prevention rules and procedures.
Participate in reducing inventory losses and meeting shrink targets.
Participate in new associate onboarding and Loss Prevention awareness training.
Assist in the training of new Loss Prevention associates as needed.
To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager, such as out-of-hours surveillance, loss prevention audits, providing additional help at other stores, and attending department meetings.
Requirements for the Role:
Maintain a high quality of customer service in accordance with VS standards at all times.
A track record of successfully forming solid alliances with in-store management.
Other stores in the district may need travel to support them, although they are within a fair driving distance.
Work is completely adaptable. 5 days out of 7 (including weekends and evenings)
Qualifications
Previous retail or loss prevention experience is required.
Self-motivated and hardworking.
Work with great integrity, holding themselves to the highest standards, and setting a good example.
A thorough grasp of ASCONE.
Familiar with relevant legislation PACE and GDPR.
Excellent time management skills, as well as the ability to operate under pressure.
Capable of taking the initiative.
Customers come first.
Exhibits self-assurance and strong verbal/written communication abilities.
