Every year, Guinness Nigeria offers scholarships as part of their commitment to implementing transformative schemes that foster youth development. The scholarship will pay full tuition fee for students who are currently studying in any Nigerian Universities or Polytechnics.
A Lot of students have benefited from this establishment and it has really been a source of hope to many families who are struggling but still want to give their kids access to quality education.

About Guinness Nigeria
In the past 10 years, Guinness Nigeria’s learning for life programme has provided a platform for the Company to support youth development across its host communities.
Last year, Guinness Nigeria paid tuition for 20 undergraduates who are beneficiaries of the undergraduate scholarship scheme.
Did I mention to you that Guinness Nigeria also sponsors a technical training scholarship which enables young school leavers to study at the Institute for Industrial Technology (IIT), Isheri Lagos State?

There’s more. The Guinness Graduate Skills Development Scholarship Scheme. This scheme provides full tuition for 10 Engineering graduates to undergo a one-year Graduate Skills Development Programme at the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN)
This programme equips the beneficiaries with the required technical knowledge they need to build successful careers in Nigeria’s growing power sector.
The reason why the scholarship scheme for young school learners was established is to enable them to study engineering.
The scheme is being implemented in collaboration with the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) and has been extended to include other fields of study. It is being conducted in partnership with the Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).
Guiness Nigeria promotes technical education by sponsoring students to attend the Institute of Industrial Technology (IIT) in Lagos for a three-year skill acquisition programme, and in the last four years they have been able to conduct two rotations of this programme and 20 students have been beneficiaries.
Guiness Nigeria is also passionate and committed to improving computer education and have donated several personal computers to secondary schools across the country.
In 2004, Guiness Nigeria invested over N11.5 million in the publication of a compilation of 20 years of past questions and answers from the Nigerian university matriculation examination. This reference book was publicly launched by the then Vice-President of Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku.

Who Is Eligible For a Guinness Scholarship?
- The Guiness scholarship Applications is open to students studying the following courses in any University or polytechnic: Engineering & Sciences- Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering ,Chemical engineering, Lab Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources/Industrial & Labor Relations and Accounting.
- Candidates must be in their 1st or 2nd year in any Nigeria Universities or Polytechnics
For you to be selected, you will be;
- required to write an aptitude test
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide a letter of introduction from the Chairman of their Community Development Associations where applicable.
