Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ equivalent professional or military experience.
3+ years of people management experience.
3+ years of experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, risk management, supply chain management, or other related field.
3+ years data collection experience with root cause analysis
1+ years of experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Excel.
Leads the effort to offer risk mitigation, security supervision, and asset (People, Property, and Data) protection inside the designated site in an efficient and effective manner. The Loss Prevention Manager creates an LP program for their site that is aligned with network goals. They strategically motivate their employees to reach and surpass their objectives. You will be able to make a difference at the network level by developing new programs, initiatives, and ideas.
The Loss Prevention Agent protects the assets of a store against theft, and works with the Leadership team to maintain operational controls to reduce shortage.
The LPM exceeds its internal and external customers’ expectations with fresh and innovative concepts. This leader fosters an inclusive and diverse atmosphere and develops their employees to be successful. The LPM reports to the Regional Loss Prevention Manager in charge of their region and assists them in assisting operational teams as well as other cross-functional teams throughout the company. It is possible that this job will have direct reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Improve, measure, and report on metrics, which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements and ensuring that the targeted objectives are realized on time and on budget.
Continuous improvement may be used to promote process improvements and boost efficiency. Develop driven business cases by collecting data from multiple DCs via database polling or data entry; and conducting analysis to generate strategic and tactical interpretations that receive the necessary approval, financial and technical resources, and the support of appropriate management to enact desired changes.
Identifies market trends in physical security and offers action steps to aid in the implementation of best practices on the site
Engage, teach, train, and persuade business partners to act as an extension of Loss Prevention by providing them with the expertise to detect leading indications of Loss Prevention risk and educating them on the proper escalation path. Ensure that team members understand the vision and values of Amazon, Global Security Operations, and Loss Prevention in order to align performance with your internal and external partners.
Oversee and lead theft and fraud investigations, as well as conduct interviews as needed.
In order to reduce losses, use tools, data analysis, and collaboration with internal partners to detect inventory problems and establish strategic strategies.
Inspire excellence in performance from all members of the security services team and third-party providers. Taking the lead in ensuring that MSA is met or surpasses exceptions. Holding vendors accountable for meeting consumer expectations.
You are the go-to person for all internal and external partners. Identify, promote, and put security best practices into action. Collaborate effectively with internal customers to evaluate current and future security services, procedures, and initiatives.
Recruit, employ, develop, and retain people who, when necessary, increase the performance standard of the security services company.
Possess the capacity to successfully drive followers into action, not by compulsion, but by evoking their passion and conviction in the organization’s vision and principles, and to influence all internal and external stakeholders properly.
Planning, implementation, execution, and management of incident response.
Address loss mitigation, physical security concerns, and prospective and actual workplace violence events in accordance with policy.
Domestic travel up to 25% on duty.
This position requires you to be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. As needed, work weekends and/or overnight shifts.
Work in an industrial setting that demands up to 5 miles of walking per day and the capacity to carry up to 20 pounds with or without suitable accommodations.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma ideas is preferred, and certification such as the PMP is a bonus.
Experience searching and analyzing data bases such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception Based Reporting, and others.
Extensive knowledge of security equipment such as intrusion detection systems, access control systems, and video review systems.
Extensive experience in a variety of company types, including logistics, warehouse, distribution center, and multi-site loss management.
Interviewing and interrogation experience, such as Wicklander and Zulawski, is advantageous, as is LPQ, CPP, LPC, CFI, or other certificates.
Experience with Workplace Violence and/or Business Continuity
